BitChute changed their site, /myupload comes up in the errorto BitChute changed their site, "myupload" shows up in the error 5 months agoWhen mousing over the "upload video" link, I see it links to the following in the lower right:
Maybe they actually have an API now?
Upload page looks the same, but the channel landing page looks new
Going to the video doesn't show the tabs anymore
In order to do this, you need to go to "Manage Videos" off of "My Profile". Link is: https://www.bitchute.com/content?id=JqEoP64bHDmk
Then there are "edit" buttons
Looks like the URL is new, you might be able to just jump to it
"Enable discussion" is a slider in the bottom right.
Does the Freedomain Channel have the Bitchute Premium membership?
On my test account the "Upload Video" button leads to old.bitchute.com, which shows the old upload page.
They changed that already, it went to
api.bitchute.com
when I created this ticket.Does going to https://old.bitchute.com/channel/JqEoP64bHDmk/upload/ work for you and can you upload a video through it?
This would be a workaround until the new upload rework gets pushed out to my test account.
I'll give that a try. The video edit to turn off comments still exists
on "old.bitchute.com". I think the only way it could break is if the
automation ever tries to force the address to "bitchute.com" instead of
following a link. I'll also see what it does when fetching the video URL.
Should have followed up here!
@yuriy the URL that gets saved with the latest update is missing one of the slashes (
https:/
instead ofhttps://
).Fixed, thanks!
